The International Criminal Court Library (ICC) is looking for interns/visiting professionals for 2011 (as part of the Court’s internship and visiting professional programme).
- The internship and visiting professional programme is for a 6 month period.
- The visiting professional programme is for candidates over 35.
- Interns and visiting professionals receive EUR 1,000 per month if selected for a paid stipend.
The ICC Library would like to solicit candidates with experience in academic, research or law libraries, who have completed tertiary studies in librarianship or information science, or want to do field work as part of their studies.

Candidates with information technology skills, interest in reference and technical services are desired. The ICC Library uses the SirsiDynix integrated library system and uses the cataloguing and classification system of the Library of Congress, the Répertoire de vedettes matière (RVM) MARC 21 and AACR2.
Bilingualism (French and English) would be an asset, otherwise, some working knowledge of the language (either French or English) which is not the first language of the candidate is required.
The first closing date for applications is the 1st of May if candidates wish to be eligible for their internship to start from the 1st of October until 31st of March of the following year.
